Henri Lloyd Clothing Brand History

Henri lloyd was founded in Manchester in 1963 by Henri Strzelecki. Henri Strzelecki was a keen sailor since and in the early sixties was quick to spot the potential the new Bri-nylon fabric could have on the sailing market. On the 1st of July 1963, he founded Henri-Lloyd, and pioneered over thirty years of sporting firsts and technical innovations.

Those Who Brave The Sea. With inspiration drawn directly from the sea, the Henri Lloyd collection references the brand’s heritage. The design direction captures the spirit of people who brave the harsh environments at sea, creating an industrial and impactful feel.
